The device that makes it all possible:


The cooler module may be mounted (see Figure 1) on the roof (flat or pitched) or wall of a building, or even in the open air. These units can also be coupled together for larger systems (see Figure 2) to give greater refrigerated space, or for where the climate is prone to prolonged periods of overcast weather.

The angle of the tubes can be optimised for a particular climate, and can even be vertical if the greatest power is needed first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

A typical in-building fridge installation is seen in Figure 3. Installation is extremely simple and safe since there are no electrical, or water connections to be made. The unit is simply screwed, or bolted into place, and a couple of lengths of ducting cut to size is fitted over spigots.
